 We're helping 121,000 disadvantaged students graduate from high school and get into college. But that number is not big enough. Helping children from low income families earn their high school diploma is not charity. It is a way to ensure the future of our communities. Project GRAD has a ten-year track record of successfully helping at risk students make it through K-12 school systems and graduate college. Project GRAD works. We have the evidence. General Accounting Office recognizes GRAD in published report on the No Child Left Behind Act

Education Could Do More to Help State Better Define Graduation Rates and Improve Knowledge about Intervention. "About a third of students entering high school do not graduate and face limited job prospects. The No Child Left Behind Act requires states to use graduation rates to measure how well students are educated. . . We identified five interventions that had been rigorously evaluated and showed potential for improving graduation rates. . .
